iPhone 3G Email, Only $100

I was searching eBay for the new iPhone 3G and then came across some weird auctions. Now it’s no surprise that people sell email names on eBay.
But it seems a few people have made numerous, Yahoo, Gmail etc. accounts that including some sort of words pertaining to the iPhone 3G.
It seems that some are actually making good money. Ranging from $20-$100. Honestly, i see no real need for these emails. Besides maybe for spammers to use.
