Sprint is ready to do a media blitz for their newest phone Instinct. It is going to be a rival of the iPhone. It will have a touch screen, internet access, and more.

Currently they have some internet only videos which show how much faster web pages load as compared to the iPhone. Now they are planning $100 million dollars worth of other advertising, television, posters etc. That is a huge amount to be spending on one phone.

Especially considering that Apple will most likely be releasing a 3g version this summer which will make its online loading time much shorter.
