CrunchGear has received some photos that may possibly be the new iPhone 2.0. The new iPhone is scheduled to be announced by Steve Jobs on Monday and there has been a ton of fake iPhone 2.0 photos.

These photos though seem to be legit. It looks like something that Apple would actually create and matches the criteria of what everyone thinks it will have. But at the same time it could very well be a great photoshop and kill our hopes.

We will not state these are legit photos until it is confirmed by Apple, which won’t happen until Monday. But we just thought you’d love to drool and dream.

Sprint is ready to do a media blitz for their newest phone Instinct. It is going to be a rival of the iPhone. It will have a touch screen, internet access, and more.

Currently they have some internet only videos which show how much faster web pages load as compared to the iPhone. Now they are planning $100 million dollars worth of other advertising, television, posters etc. That is a huge amount to be spending on one phone.

Especially considering that Apple will most likely be releasing a 3g version this summer which will make its online loading time much shorter.

Ever thought it was crazy that AT&T doesn’t give any discount at all for the iPhone. Even though you must sign a 2-year contract and even though every single other phone receives a discount.

Well AT&T might have thought that too. We say might since it is just rumors currently, but it could be a real possiblity. Sources state that AT&T might be selling the 8gig iPhone for $200.

This would actually be a very smart move for AT&T since it would cause more people to be able to purchase an iPhone. But what is smart is usually not the choice made by corporations. Time will tell.

www.iphone.fr posted some photos claiming it was the new iPhone with 3G. Well it is a fake. An obvious one at that.

Gizmodo has come across possible Apple App Store photos. The layout is very similar to the current installer.app but then again the installer does flow well.

Are these the real thing? High chance they aren’t but time will tell.

Many rumors have been going around about possible price drops and model changes. We all know that Apple recently added the 16gig iPhone and 32gig iTouch to their model line.

Now there is the possibility that Apple will get rid of the 8gig model and even make the 16gig model $100 less. With the iTouch they could also possibly get rid of the 8gig model and make the 16gig and 32gig the two main models. It would also most likely cut down the prices for the two.

Right now these are all just rumors but with the lowering cost of flash media and by looking at what Apple has done within the last year. These rumors could very easily become fact by the end of this month. Apple is also looking to boost their sales due to a slumping economy. Most likely if there is any new changes it will be announced by the end of the month.
