Apple recalls millions of iPhone 3G power adapters

Apple has recently stated that their power adapters have a tendency to break. Which in turn causes the possibility of electrocution.

Who is at risk? Anyone who purchased an iPhone 3G in North America, which is a couple million.

What can you do? Apple has set up an exchange program. You can either go through the web and order an exchange or visit your local Apple retailer on October 10th and you can receive a new one for free.

The new adapters will have a green dot, to designate they are new.

Also, anyone who has a PWNed iPhone, do not upgrade because the PWN software will not work with the new firmware. Not yet atleast.

AT&T Owns iPhone Exclusivity Until 2010

AT&T is smart, well to an extent. They at least know one thing, that the iPhone sells. Due to this knowledge they have been able to strike a deal with Apple. The AT&T and Apple exclusivity deal has been extended to 2010.

What does this mean? That AT&T really wants to keep the iPhone and now everyone else has to wait longer. Maybe 2011 for T-Mobile? That is if AT&T doesn’t make another deal.

iPhone 3G Overheats and Burns Guy

A member at MacRumors recently posted that while he was sleeping, he was suddenly awoken by a really hot iPhone 3G. It even burned his leg. We are pretty sure iPhone 3G’s are not suppose to burn you.

Even though the iPhone is warped and such, it still works. Guess there is a bright side.

Apple App Store, Hard For Developers

A member and developer over at MacRumors has stated how it is growing increasingly difficult to use Apple App store. He created an Application called Lumens, sent it in and then the application’s appearence in the App store was delayed. When it finally showed up in the App store it was buried under a ton of other Apps that were more recently released.

Hopefully he and Apple can get this whole App Store mess settled and make it easier for developers.

To help him out we are posting a link to his App on iTunes. Help Him out!
